Im constantly scouring the web researching info for developing and loging into my accounts or rigning up for things…… I research by finding info, copying it and either pasting it into another website or use it for dictation reading out loud to me…… the problem is I copy my email address the first time I use it in the day…… sometimes I actualy get to paste it to save me some time the next time but usualy I copy something to research and then I need my email again and I end up pasting the wiki on video encoding as my email……. It has been a vitiouse sycle for many years and the weight off my shoulders that I only have to type my email one more time makes my endorfins bubble. If you want to waist 1.2 years of your life typing your email address in, then that is up to you….. but today Daddy got a brand new toy!…. Thanks guys… Keep up the good work! Fo, ArtBubblie . com

Just installed it and it seems to do what it needs to do …. remember clipboard history! :) Can’t complain, especially for the price. Nice job. Of course I still have a wish list... 1. I want to set how many clips to store (instead of just how many hours to store stuff) 2. I want keyboard bindings for managing the list: arrows to select, delete, show/hide list without having to click the icon

It works well. Nice App - If it had a clipboard history it would be perfect. I know that clipboard histories can grow to be a pain, so barring that it would be nice if it would automatically archive after a preset time so that we could go back and search the archives. I’d even pay for that ability.

It’s an OK app. I would like it better if it had more history options. Plus, it would be nice to have an optional dock icon for this app.

This is a pretty app that suggests it can provide a concise way of using a multi-clipboard approach to Mac life. It is very Mac-ish in that the interface is clean, inviting and responsive. (even attractive) It is just that the workflow is a non-starter. While it supports multiple clipboards, its fatal flaw is that you are forced to fish around and try and figure out what app you used to perform the copy a few minutes ago or a couple of days ago (good luck with that). If you have run 20+ apps in the last 3 days, and you know you copied that email address from somewhere, and you need it NOW, you are relgatted to fishing around looking for that email address in one of the 20+ apps listed in xClipboard. Instead, with a linear list of clipboards, you could quickly scroll down through that list and identify anything with an “@“ in it visually to see what email address you are looking for among the variety of email addresses you copied in the last 3 days. What happnes is that you will hopefully try and remember part of the email address and punt… go to Spotlight and search your Finder because finding in xClipboard ain’t gonna happen. It’s a clipboard labyrinth with no Jennifer Connelly as your prize. And why did I pick 3 days? That is the maximum age of anything in the xClipboard before it expires and disapears. (really?!). So, for now, until it does not work any more, I will stick with the late great PopCopy2 (R.I.P. 2006) which provides immediate access to all clipboards even by a keystroke… and when I say all, I mean as long as I want to keep them… and have enough disk space. March 18th is my oldest one currently… almost a month ago.

Clips can’t be stored for more than three days? Really? That’s a deal breaker for me even if it is a free app! One service that many clipboard apps come with is the ability to store some clips that you use all the time, like passwords, email addresses, addresses, etc, and paste them as you need them. This doesn’t have that ability since it only keeps clips for three days at the longest! How stupid is that! There’s a few things I look for in a clipboard app, that it keeps unlimited clips for an unlimited time, that you can cut from, and paste to and from, the app by double clicking AND by drag and drop, and a search enging where you can find your clips. Is that asking too much? One thing I have never seen that I like is to be able to cut from clips stored in the app. If I have a long paragraph stored in the app I want to be able to (1) look at the whole thing and (2) cut a part from it to the clipboard and app to paste. Well, if anyone finds a clipboard app like that let me know! A clipboard app is my most used app by far, and is invaluable. Now, if I can only find a good one!

can be much better than this. If your menu bar is in dark you wont beable to see this app icon. the history is messed up in their app category and only stays for 3 days max.
